Summary reminder:
Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high school chemistry teacher who is down on his luck, is diagnosed with inoperable, advanced lung cancer. One day while travelling with his DEA brother-in-law Hank Schrader (Dean Norris), Walter sees his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) fleeing a meth lab. Walter then contacts Jesse and forms a partnership to manufacture and distribute meth. He reasons that supplying financial stability for his pregnant wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) and disabled son will make him a more desirable partner as a cook, and that he’ll also use his street connections to distribute the meth. Walter and Jesse start selling methamphetamine in Albuquerque in their first days of selling. When Walter and Jesse deliver the meth they’ve made to Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz), a local drug lord, they encounter numerous troubles with local drug dealers. Tuco Salamanca, Walter’s pseudonym as ‘Heisenberg’, sells his meth to Tuco Salamanca, using the pseudonym ‘Heisenberg’.
